Use of Services
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
Intellectual Property
Our website and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
User Content
You retain all rights to audio and transcript content you submit. By uploading audio, you grant us and the configured transcription provider only the limited permission needed to process the file and return the requested result. You represent that you own the recording or have the permission required to process it, including any consent required from people whose voices appear in it.
Plans, usage, and billing
Free and paid plans include monthly limits on completed transcription jobs, rounded-up audio minutes, and transcript retention. The limits shown on the pricing page are part of these Terms. Failed or cancelled processing attempts do not consume allowance. Included usage does not roll over, and we do not charge automatic overage fees.
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Checkout and subscription management are handled by Stripe. Cancelling stops future renewals; access normally continues through the paid billing period unless the payment provider or law requires otherwise. Taxes, currency conversion, and bank charges may depend on your location and payment method.
We may change future plan prices or allowances, but a change will not rewrite a completed billing period. Material changes will be presented before they apply to a future renewal where required.
Transcript retention
Raw audio is processed from private temporary storage. Resumable upload parts are deleted after preparation, provider-safe processing chunks are deleted when the job completes, fails, or is cancelled, and raw audio is not saved in the application database or transcript library. Transcript text and timestamps are kept only for the retention window included with the current plan and are then deleted. You are responsible for exporting any copy you need before expiry or before deleting the transcript yourself.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use our services in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Upload audio you do not have the right or permission to process
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of our services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or networks
- Use our services to distribute malware or other harmful code
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms on this page.
